Jamael Stewart thought he would be a football coach all of his life, but then he became a site director at Breakthrough.
“I really like working with students,” Jamael said.
Jamael has been working at Breakthrough for four years. He started in January 2006.
One year he worked as a volunteer, one year as a site director, and two years as the director of the Breakthrough Miami Doctor’s Charter site.
“He caters to everyone’s needs” said Andrea Fernandez, a former Breakthrough scholar and current Program Assistant at Doctor’s.
Students, such as seventh grade Woody Jean-Louis, also think very highly of Jamael.
“He is a very talented man,” Woody said.
