She's Making A Breakthrough

Soccer teacher Lisa Newton is trying out coaching for the first time.

Lisa has been playing soccer since a child but stopped during high school to participate in the extra-curricular activities.

“I wanted to try soccer (in my childhood) because I was very energetic and wanted to try it out,” Lisa said.

“My students really enjoy my classes because they’re fun and they learn a lot,” Lisa said.

Lisa enjoys watching her student’s progress in their studies.

Sadee Alt, a 6th grade student here at Doctor’s charter, said she likes Lisa’s class a whole lot.

“In Lisa’s class it’s really fun and cool,”Sa
dee said.

English teacher David Houston had only good things to say about Lisa.

“Lisa is really fun and all the teachers like to hang out with her,” David said.
